Aerial Boom Kits

The boom cable kit installation part numbers that are found in your parts manual are installation items. Some installation items for JLG equipment are sold individually. That means that you don't actually purchase the kit part number, but rather all of the parts individually. In this case, the standard ANSI Installation for the 400s (part number 0271160) or the 460SJ (part number 0271159) is not recognized by the OEM anymore. Now thankfully this doesn't mean that the manufacturer has given up on you, it just means that the part number is no longer available. Sometimes this is because it is sold at the component level, but there are many different reasons that manufacturers change their part numbers over time. Buying the items is generally better at the component level anyway, since you are paying for only what you need. Say you need the Fly Boom for your 400S but can reuse all the other parts, you can purchase 0801213 and get that section of the boom!
